The good news is that there are several options to make it much easier. The first comes in the form of recruiting software. This option is actually quite straightforward. It works as a specialized database to help you keep track of your applicants. The features are different for each brand, but they all come down to providing an effective way to manage applications and sort through the sea of credentials.

Another option would be candidate sourcing. This works by completely outsourcing the actual hiring process. For some companies this may be a better option. Many smaller firms can’t afford to form a new human resources division just to handle the occasional hiring. Using candidate sourcing would provide you with a short list of the cream of the crop to pick from. It’s at least something to consider.

These are just a few of the methods that are arising to handle the difficulties of recruiting. There is an entire market around back office software for recruiting, and it can only grow more as time goes on.
